You'll need
- The passport you'll travel on. A phone that can read the chip (NFC) is quickest.
- A camera for a quick selfie.
- Your travel dates, flight or ship, and where you're staying.
- A card, Apple Pay or Google Pay for the $150.00 fee.
You don't need an ETA if you
- are a citizen of Acme, or hold an Acme Status Card
- hold an Acme visa, work permit, residence permit or Permanent Residence Certificate
- already have a valid ETA and haven't changed your passport
How we use your information
The Acme Immigration Authority uses what you give us, including your passport data and a face template from your selfie, to decide your ETA and to clear you through the border. It is checked against security and immigration databases, kept securely, and shared only with authorised agencies as the law requires. Your face template is deleted when your ETA expires.
Declaration
- Giving false information is an offence, and grounds to refuse or cancel an ETA.
- An ETA lets you travel to Acme. It does not guarantee entry; a border officer makes the final decision.
- The fee is not refundable once your application has been decided.
